A long-vacant back-land plot tucked behind Rye Lane in Peckham presented a genuine opportunity to bring a neglected brownfield site back into productive use. The new-build scheme delivers eleven rooms, each with its own en-suite and kitchenette, offering a level of privacy and self-sufficiency well beyond conventional shared housing, purpose-built for young professionals in one of south London's most vibrant neighbourhoods.

RIDE took the project through technical design and into construction, delivering a building that holds its own within a dense and layered urban context. Yellow stock brick, galvanised metal detailing and carefully considered massing give the scheme a confident identity while respecting the character of the Rye Lane Conservation Area.
